The main aim of RIPPS is to facilitate the performance of clinical trials in France and to guarantee their quality in pediatric population. RIPPS is coordinated by Gérard Pons (Saint Vincent de Paul -Cochin, Paris, France) and Behrouz Kassai (clinical investigation center (CIC), Lyon, France). The mission of RIPPS is to: To ensure a logistical and methodological facilitation of clinical trials in children through: - A national organization (mobilizing network through a single contact) - The identification of cohorts and groups of patients - Its expertise in managing clinical trials for children - Methodological approaches adapted to children RIPPS also ensures that the clinical trials are high standard and are carried by experts who are well aware about the methodological approaches and are specialized in managing pediatric clinical trials. |
