I-BFM-SG - International BFM Study Group

Number of competitive grants obtained in the last 5 years Selected references in the period 2011-2016 are reported in appendix 1 (attached). The references were selected to highlight the network's contribution. The publications are the result of: 1. Clinical study reports 2. Committee activities 3. Biological and translational reserch projects born and promoted within the network
Access to expert groups Yes The I-BFM is formally Board member of the SIOP (International Society of Pediatric Oncology)-Europe , funded the "Ponte-di Legno International ALL Consortium" to promote the research in rare subsets of ALL in children, has active cooperation with the "Children's Oncology Group"-USA.
Capacity to answer external scientific questions Yes The external contacts are maneged by the elected Chairman of the I-BFM-SG.
Site feasibility Yes
Participant recruitment Yes Each clinical trial is managed by a merged steering committees of the different National Study Groups involved in the study. The annual report of each study is done during the annual meeting.
Budget calculation for studies The financial support of each study is not managed by the network, but through each National Study Group.
