RECLIP - Spanish Pediatric Clinical Trials Network |
Type | The Spanish Pediatric Clinical Trials Network (RECLIP) is a national network created on the basis of the clinical strength of major pediatric hospitals, combined with primary health care centres and thematic research networks that develop relevant activity in pediatric clinical research in Spain. RECLIP is focused on the promotion of high quality pediatric clinical research in Spain with the purpose of improving child health. The main objective of RECLIP is to provide a fully developed and professionalized network of reference national clinical trial unit, ensuring an appropriate infrastructure for conducting safe and effective pediatric clinical trials. The financial sustainability of RECLIP currently relies upon a positive revenue stream from direct services offered through its partners (the clinical sites) with a fee-for-service, together with co-funding through the European network (c4c) funded by IMI2 RECLIP is further exploring and planning to have additional income streams as part of its growth, through public grants, donations, and memberships, which will allow a mixed model of sustainability. |
