ECAPN - European Child & Adolescent Psychopharmacology Network

Number of peer reviewed publications in the last 5 years 70 See attached document "ECAPN reference list EnprEMA 2022"
Number of competitive grants obtained in the last 5 years The network facilitates scientific exchange and discussion leading to paper preparation and publication and the last 5 years have been a period of analysis and dissemination of academic collaborative studies mainly granted by the FP7 framework. Publications involving the network have increased comparing with the previous period (see list of publications). Other activities were developed by collaborations inside the network such as guidelines, recommendations, practitioner reviews, meta-analyses and systematic reviews.
Access to expert groups Yes Most members of the Network also hold positions in European Scientific Societies, and there is a smooth collaboration between the individual societies and the Network. Besides, several members of the Network are also part of the Psychiatry Expert Group and the Adolescent Expert Group within the IMI-2 project c4c
Capacity to answer external scientific questions Yes We are a section of ECNP, and we have access to other ECNP sections. The Network holds a minimum of 2 specific meetings per year, generally during the ECNP congress and the ECNP child and adolescent psychopharmacology school. Besides, there are 2 Taskforce Network meetings each year
Site feasibility Yes Discussed within the network, including national centres related to the network members, and then proposed to Institutions/Companies/CRO; See also attached document "ECAPN Bylaw"
Participant recruitment Yes See "ECAPN bylaw" provided in the website. Sharing information of best way for specific study/country: ads, website, networks of office- based paediatricians and child/ adolescent psychiatrists, patients’ and carers' associations.
